The Stieber NF 12mm is a compact roller-type freewheel without bearing support, designed for use with external bearings and oil lubrication. Its compact design allows integration with standard ball bearing housings, making it ideal for high-speed indexing, overrunning, or backstop applications in confined mechanical systems.

With a shaft diameter of Ø12 mm, the NF 12mm freewheel supports overrunning speeds up to 5000 RPM (imax) and application speeds up to 6000 RPM (amax), while transmitting up to 20 Nm of torque. The inner race is keyed to the shaft, ensuring secure torque transmission. The outer race has a positive n6 press-fit tolerance for installation into H7 housings and features additional side notches to engage torque—these may be omitted when using a rigid K6 tolerance housing.

The outer diameter conforms to standard ball bearing dimensions, allowing co-location with bearing components in space-optimized assemblies.
