Description

The Stieber GFR Ø55 mm is a compact, roller-type freewheel clutch built to meet high-speed and high-torque demands. Designed for a Ø55 mm shaft, it operates at up to 750 rpm on the inner race and 2650 rpm on the outer race. Capable of transmitting 2625 Nm of torque, it is suitable for dynamic drive systems requiring reliable backstop or overrunning capabilities.
This unit is part of the modular Stieber system, supported by two 160-series ball bearings. It requires oil lubrication and is typically used with F-series covers that manage torque transmission and ensure proper sealing. The plain outer race accepts H7 tolerance fits, with torque transferred via bolts through the cover plate. Two paper seals are included to assist in correct installation.
