HV73100740The Stieber freewheel GFR 15 is a roller-type freewheel clutch, designed as part of the Stieber modular system for use in overrunning, indexing, and backstop applications.
The unit is bearing supported with two 160-series bearings and requires oil lubrication. It must be integrated into a housing system that provides proper oil lubrication and sealing. The bearings are not intended for axial loads.
The outer race of the GFR series is plain, designed to receive and center components with a bore tolerance of H7. Torque is transmitted via bolts through a cover plate, typically using F-series covers, which also provide oil lubrication and sealing. Covers are generally used in pairs to match application requirements.
The GFRN variant differs only in having a keyway on the outside diameter for torque transmission. Each unit is supplied with two paper seals for placement between the outer race and cover plates.
