The Stieber freewheel CSK 8 mm is a sprag-type freewheel clutch integrated into a compact ball bearing design. It provides reliable overrunning functionality while being bearing supported for smooth operation and reduced friction.

This unit is pre-greased with high-quality lubrication for low-maintenance performance and is dust-protected against particles larger than 0.3 mm, ensuring durability even in challenging environments. With a maximum torque of 2.5 Nm and a drag torque of only 0.5 Ncm, it is designed for precision indexing, overrunning, and backstop applications in compact machinery.

The CSK series uses formchromed sprags, significantly extending service life under overrunning conditions. Torque is transmitted by press-fit assembly into a rigid steel housing with N6 tolerance and onto a shaft with n6 tolerance.

For applications above +50°C, the use of Nylos seals is recommended. The CSK also supports oil bath lubrication for enhanced versatility.
