The Stieber CSK 40mm PP is a robust, bearing-supported freewheel integrated into a 62-series deep groove ball bearing, optimized for high-load transmission systems. Designed for Ø40 mm shafts, it provides a maximum clutch torque of 325 Nm and a drag torque of 7 Nm, making it well suited for demanding indexing, backstopping, or overrunning duties.

The PP configuration includes keyways on both inner and outer races, allowing secure torque transfer through both shaft and housing. Recommended tolerances are h6 for the shaft and H6 for the housing, ensuring proper press-fit and optimal load distribution.

The unit is grease-lubricated from factory, sealed against particles >0.3 mm, and supports optional oil bath lubrication. Its formchromed sprags enhance service life and wear resistance.

Suitable for environments operating between +5°C and +60°C. Use of Nylos seals is recommended when ambient or operating temperatures exceed 50°C.
