More Information
Description

The Stieber CSK 17mm P is a sprag-type freewheel integrated into a deep groove ball bearing of the 62-series, designed for combined radial load support and unidirectional rotation control. With a shaft interface diameter of Ø17 mm, this unit delivers a maximum torque of 30 Nm and a drag torque of 1.1 Nm under overrunning conditions.
The CSK..P variant features a keyway on the inner race to enable positive torque transmission via a keyed shaft (shaft fit tolerance k6). The outer race must be press-fitted into a rigid steel housing with an N6 tolerance to ensure precise concentricity and load-bearing alignment. No additional bearing support is required, as the unit is fully bearing-supported by its integrated ball bearing.
This series is grease-lubricated at the factory and equipped with shields that protect against solid particles >0.3 mm in diameter. It is suitable for use in overrunning, backstopping, or light indexing functions in automation systems, packaging lines, and conveyors.
The operating temperature range is +5°C to +60°C. For ambient temperatures above 50°C, the use of “Nylos” type seals is strongly recommended to prevent lubricant leakage and contamination ingress.
