The Stieber freewheel CSK 17 is a sprag-type freewheel clutch integrated into a 62-series ball bearing design. Compact and reliable, it is designed for overrunning, indexing, and backstop applications in machinery where precision and durability are essential.

This model provides a maximum torque of 30 Nm with a low drag torque of 1.1 Ncm. It is bearing supported, grease lubricated, and protected against dust particles larger than 0.3 mm, ensuring dependable performance and long service life.

All CSK models use formchromed sprags, significantly extending overrunning lifetime. Torque transmission is achieved via press-fit assembly into a rigid steel housing (N6 tolerance) and onto a shaft with n6 tolerance. For operating temperatures above +50°C, additional Nylos-type seals are recommended, and the CSK design also allows for oil bath lubrication where required.
