The Stieber freewheel CSK 15 mm is a sprag-type freewheel integrated into a 62-series ball bearing, combining compact design with dependable overrunning functionality. It is widely used in applications such as indexing, backstopping, and overrunning in industrial machinery.

This model provides a maximum torque of 17 Nm with a very low drag torque of 0.9 Ncm. It is bearing supported, delivered grease-lubricated, and protected against dust particles larger than 0.3 mm.

All CSK freewheels feature formchromed sprags, a special treatment that significantly extends service life during overrunning. Torque is transmitted by press-fit assembly into a rigid steel housing (N6 tolerance) and onto a shaft with n6 tolerance. The initial radial clearance of the bearing is preset to C5 for correct function.

The CSK series allows for oil bath lubrication when required. For operating temperatures above +50°C, the use of Nylos seals is recommended. For splash-water resistance, the CSK..2RS version is available, which is 5 mm wider and fitted with lip seals.
