The Stieber CSK 12mm P-2RS is a compact, sprag-type freewheel integrated into a 62-series ball bearing (except size 8 and 40), specifically designed for Ø12 mm shafts. It delivers a maximum torque of 9.3 Nm with a drag torque of 3 Nm under overrunning conditions.

This variant features a keyway on the inner race, ensuring positive torque transmission on a shaft with n6 tolerance, while the outer race requires press-fitting into a rigid steel housing with N6 tolerance. As part of the CSK P2-RS series, it is 5 mm wider than the standard type and includes lip seals for water splash resistance, making it suitable for humid environments or applications with exposure to fluids.

The internal C5 radial clearance compensates for press-fit distortion. All CSK units feature formchromed sprags to significantly extend overrunning life. The freewheel is grease-lubricated by default, with optional oil bath lubrication. Protected against particles >0.3 mm.

Recommended temperature range: +5°C to +60°C. For higher ambient conditions, Nylos seals are recommended.
