The Stieber ASNU 80mm is a roller-type freewheel without bearing support. Designed for integration with external bearings and sealing systems, it allows flexibility in positioning and load handling. With a nominal shaft diameter of Ø80 mm, this model supports overrunning speeds up to 550 RPM (imax) and 850 RPM (amax), delivering a maximum torque capacity of 3275 Nm and a drag torque of 180 Nm.

The inner race is keyed to the shaft for secure torque transmission. The outer race features an n6 press-fit tolerance designed to seat into H7 housings. For housing tolerances of K6, side notches on the outer race can be omitted, provided the housing maintains structural rigidity to prevent expansion during operation. This type supports axial misalignment between inner and outer race up to ± S/2, and its outer diameter aligns with 63-series ball bearings, enabling co-location in compact assemblies.

This modular freewheel is particularly suited for indexing, backstopping, or overrunning applications in demanding mechanical systems.
