Description

The Stieber ASK 50mm freewheel is a compact, self-contained roller-type unit with internal bearing support via two rows of roller bearings. Designed for Ø50 mm shafts, it is grease-lubricated and dust-protected for maintenance-free operation. The unit offers a maximum torque capacity of 125 Nm and a drag torque of 20 Nm, ideal for overrunning, indexing, and backstop functions.
With outer dimensions conforming to the 60-series radial bearing standard, the ASK freewheel is well-suited for direct integration in existing mechanical designs. Torque is transmitted through a press-fit mounting on both the inner and outer race, with C4 radial clearance as standard to accommodate the interference fit.
Recommended mounting tolerances:
-
Shaft: h6 or j6
-
Housing: K6
Note: This unit cannot accept axial loads. Where axial forces exist, external thrust bearings must be installed.
