The Stieber AS 30mm freewheel is a roller-type unit without internal bearing support, designed for Ø30 mm shaft systems. It allows clutch overrunning speeds up to 1600 rpm (inner race) and amax 2400 rpm (outer race). The unit supports a maximum torque of 90 Nm and has a drag torque of 7.8 Nm.

It features outer dimensions in line with 62-series ball bearings, simplifying mechanical integration. The inner race is keyed to the shaft, and the outer race must be press-fitted with R6 tolerance into an H7 housing. The housing must retain dimensional stability after assembly.

The AS 30mm model must be oil-lubricated and externally sealed, with all axial and radial loads supported by external bearings. The freewheel accommodates axial misalignment up to ±S/2 between races.
