The Stieber AS 15mm freewheel is a non-bearing-supported roller-type unit designed for integration with Ø15 mm shafts. It supports clutch overrunning speeds up to 2800 rpm (inner race) and 4300 rpm (outer race), with a maximum torque of 14 Nm and a drag torque of 0.7 Nm.

Its outer dimensions match those of standard 62-series ball bearings, enabling seamless mechanical integration. The inner race is keyed to the shaft, while the outer race requires press-fit assembly to R6 tolerance into an H7 housing. To ensure durability and proper function, the housing must retain structural rigidity after installation.

This unit requires external oil lubrication and sealing, and it allows for axial misalignment between races of ±S/2, providing added flexibility during installation.
