The Precima FDB 10 is a robust, compact spring-applied brake delivering 10 Nm of holding torque at 180 VDC, mounted on a Ø20 H7 hub. Its IP54/55-rated housing provides complete protection against dust and high-pressure water jets—ideal for industrial automation, outdoor equipment, conveyors, and washdown environments.

This fixed-gap version features a factory-set air gap, ensuring easy installation without adjustment. As a fail-safe brake, it engages automatically during power loss (spring-activated) and releases cleanly only when energized—providing reliable emergency-stop and secure holding performance.

Unpowered, the brake holds firmly; when energized, it disengages precisely—supporting smooth operation in robotic drive units, pick-and-place systems, packaging lines, and small drive applications.

The unit comes with a 1 m cable for immediate integration. Optional features include manual release, flange adapters, wear indicators, temperature monitoring, low-noise or corrosion-resistant variants—allowing tailored solutions for specific installation requirements.
